HOSPITAL NAVIGATOR TO HOLISTIC HEALER

My journey into practicing and teaching restorative yoga is deeply rooted in my passion for holistic well-being and my background in healthcare. Having spent many years as a Patient Care Navigator in hospitals, guiding patients through the complexities of the healthcare system, I realized the importance of holistic care that extends beyond mere treatment. This insight led me to transition from the treatment side of healthcare to prevention and holistic wellness, prompting me to pursue a Master's degree in Health Education.

Amidst the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic, I felt compelled to deepen my understanding of holistic wellness and healing. This led me to earn my certification with Boston Yoga School, not only to support my community's well-being but also to nurture my own mental, spiritual, physical, and emotional health during uncertain times.

Embarking on my journey with restorative yoga was truly transformative. This practice became my anchor, helping me manage anxiety and regulate my breathing, calming me down faster than a glass of water. With each session, I immersed myself in the present moment, tuning into the sensations of my body and the rhythm of my breath.

Among the various restorative poses, one that resonated deeply with me was the child's pose. Settling into this gentle, nurturing posture, I found solace in connecting with my inner child. In the safety of this pose, I released tension and surrendered to the present moment. The child's pose became a sanctuary where I could reconnect with my authentic self, fostering self-compassion and acceptance with each breath.

My experience with restorative yoga has been profound, allowing me to cultivate a sense of friendship with my mind and regulate the incessant self-talk. It's more than just a practice for relaxation—it's a journey of self-discovery and inner healing that I'm grateful to share with others.

About Fire Cider

Kitchen work is alchemy work. It is the sacred place in your home where you can program your food to nourish and work for you. If we are not aware, the same can also happen in reverse; the kitchen can be a place that feeds us sickness and disease.

Tap into ancient healing wisdom with an old tradition for a great way to boost the immune system, support respiratory health, maintain a healthy microbiome and gut health by stimulating digestion, guide healthy detox pathways, and nourish the whole body with nutrient-dense ingredients that help the body improve during signs of illness and periods of stress. Fire Cider is a natural antibacterial and antiviral. It helps the body become more alkaline, bringing the body to its natural state for health and healing. This is a must-have for any home medicine cabinet!

I like to think of Fire Cider as Liquid Fire Healing Miracle Juice - it packs a punch! Fire Cider is a sweet and spicy infused vinegar herbal tonic that includes powerful herbs and raw organic ingredients that have strong medicinal properties found right in your kitchen, such as oranges, lemons, ginger, garlic, turmeric, peppers, onions, and more.

What I love about making Fire Cider is that a lot of the ingredients are practical and can be easily found in the kitchen or local supermarkets. These foods have been around for centuries and are still just as mind-blowing today as they were back then.

It's been pretty cool seeing how Fire Cider connects with so many people. It's like personalized medicine - you can tailor it to your preferences. Some people may tell me, 'Oh, I don't like this particular ingredient.' Well then, you don't have to put it in; it's what works for you. I like to start my workshops with people tasting the Fire Cider so they know what they'll be making and can feel its potency. I teach to be intentional with it—while you're shaking it, say a positive affirmation. In India, they often include affirmations on medicine labels. Even something as simple as 'my health is my wealth' can shift your mindset. So we're thinking of how this is going to impact me in a positive way versus targeting sickness. I always have people write how they're feeling on the label too, when writing out the ingredients. Sometimes people just say they're feeling in a good mood, or they're making it for loved ones. It's about tapping into natural, holistic ways to empower oneself. This is for anyone seeking to boost their immunity naturally, using ingredients commonly found in their kitchen or at the supermarket.
